The charming small town Chayofa is located in the south of the Canary Island Tenerife. It is administrated by the municipality Arona which is with its approx. 65,000 inhabitants by far bigger and is situated a few kilometres northerly. The volcano island Tenerife originated about five to seven millions years. Most clearly this is to be seen by the highest elevation of the island.
The "Pico del Teide" sizes proud 3.718 metres and is therefore the highest mountain of Spain. In two to three kilometres the popular tourist place "Playa de las Americas" with its sandy beaches can be reached. A perfect air connection is given by the nearby airport „Tenerife of the south“.
