Central Rhine, Rheinland-Palatinate

 

With the concept Middle-Rhine connects the wine-growing-area that stands with juicy vines in full bloom, one along happy wine-growers. Bingen, Rüdesheim and Bonn are vacation-places of position. At the Middle-Rhine, there are not only high-percent regions however but also with construction-monuments richly given settlements, that cuddle pliantly like bubble-chains at the slim shores.

The mix from rocks, the middle-Rhineland Outdoor-Romantic represents castles and the idyllically proceeding Rhine. With the German romanticism, the Middle-Rhine changed in Germany into a goal of the longings of dreaming hearts. The "Rhine in flames" is cult in May, July, August and September.

The upper Mittelrheintal forms the Rheinengtal of Bingen over Rüdesheim to Koblenz. Imposing palaces have fairy-tale-character and have believed the stressed office-human being in sagas and legends again.

Castle-young women and proud knights take pleasure in the over 40 castles, that one can view, along the 65 stream-kilometres. Rhine-rock represents the art of construction of the count of Katzenelnbogen. Visitors can be lost in the gigantic castle-arena - on no account should omit the impressive vault-cellar and the subterranean labyrinth with their mine-walks.

Vacationers, who like to stand on own legs, are enthusiastic about the two new long-distance-footpaths, the Rhine-Steig track and the Rheinburgenweg.
