Atour house we?ve built up 2 nice and comfortable apartments, each one has a separate entrance, a well-equipped kitchen, a big and comfortable bed (2 m length), a sitting area and a separate bathroom.
Our garden offers you a very nice view of the sea and of some banana plantations. There is a little table where you can have breakfast, sun chairs, a shower and a terrace with a big sun umbrella.

You may sit down on the terrace or on the grass, take a suntan or read a book. Or we invite you for a glass of the famous Madeira wine?

We will be happy to help you with whatever you want/need, because we want you to feel welcome on our beautiful island.

Our house is situated a little outside of Funchal in the quiet, picturesque countryside (2,5 km to the next fishing village Câmara de Lobos). You reach the centre in 15 minutes by bus, but you also may walk along the seaside to the city.
You find us underneath the coast road, less than 150 m from the Atlantic Ocean. It takes you 5 minutes to the beach with black sand. By bus or car you can reach all the nice starting points of the walks all over the island.

Price for one apartment: 1260 euros per month.


We can send you directions on how to get to our house. Shout you prefer, we can organise a good, economical rent-a-car service.

further leisure activities: Madeira ist eine Wanderinsel, sowohl zum Bergwandern (der höhste Berg ist 1860m hoch), als auch zum Wandern oder Spazierengehen entlang der Levadas (Wasserkanäle, die das Wasser aus dem regenreichen Norden auf die Südeseite der Insel transportieren) Einige Wanderwege kann man auch mit dem Mountinbike abfahren.
Ganzjährig können Sie im Atlantik schwimmen gehen. Dazu bieten Strände (einige Fussminuten entfernt), teils auch mit schwarzem Sand, oder die vielen Strandbäder hier bei uns eine Möglichkeit.
Von der Ponta da Cruz (südlichste Stelle der Insel) stürzen sich die Paragleider von den Klippen. Dieses ist keinen Kiometer entfernt und in weniger als 5 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. In und um Funchal gibt es aber auch noch andere Startpunkte der tollkühnen Sportler.

Eine Tauchbasis befindet sich 5, eine andere 15 Autominuten entfernt und es gibt viel Schönes unter Wasser zu entdecken. Madeira hat 2 Golfplätze, es gibt Tennismöglichkeiten. Alles in allem kommt der aktive Mensch hier auf seine Kosten, und wer die Ruhe liebt findet auch seine Plätzchen.

Description of environment:

It takes you 3 minutes by foot to the bakery, where you find yoghurt, cheese, milk, beer and wine as well as bred and good cakes. Different restaurants and a supermarket you reach in less than 30 minutes by foot.
