Canyamel, Majorca – holiday in the quiet east of the island

In the east of the popular holiday's island Majorca the small place Canyamel is situated. Directly on the extensive beach of the place some hotels and provider of holiday apartments are found. Canyamel is a perfect starting position for a relaxed and restful holiday on Majorca.

Here it is a little bit different than in the famous infamous "Ballermann 6". If you would like to have a look at the activity at this beach segment which is really in need of habitation you can do it. Majorca is not the smallest, but also not a gigantic island. Canyamel offers some smaller places of interest. For example, in the town you find an old military tower of the 13th century.

This was probably built on an even older moorish foundation and long-time served for the defence of pirates. Today visitors can visit a small museum in this historically significant tower. Majorca is known for its nice natural landscape and the excellent beaches and bath bays.

For a long time it is no more an insider tip that the island can be explored perfectly by the bicycle. Also for friends of the motorcycle, Majorca is a destination of the superlatives. Everywhere on the island you find rental company stations with excellent references though you can leave your own machine for sure at home.
