Bratislava – Europes youngest Capital city

Not far from the border triangle Slovakia-Austria-Hungary is the attractive Capital city of Slovakia: Bratislava.
The city is considered as economic and cultural centre of the country and therefore attracts lovers of city tours from East-European countries and more and more even from Western Europe. The hotels in Bratislava have reacted hereon and offer comfortable accomodation for wallets of every size.

The sight of „Pressburg“ – as the city was called in former time – is the unbelievable fascinating castle Bratislava which is resplendent monumentally on a  rock on the coast of the Danube. By the way the  „Hrad“ offers a fair and beautiful view to the city. 

But the Danube city also speaks for itself as a vineyeard and thus you are served in the traditional restaurants in Bratislava some good wine which is originating from the so called Carpathians wine route. 
Due to its location at the river of the Snakk carpathiuans the city has maginificent green areas, the forests here range nearly to the centre and are true oases for all seeking calmness.
