Burgas – culture, sun and recovery at the Black Sea

Burgas is as the fourth largest town of Bulgaria an important cultural, economic and political metropolis of the country. It is directly situated at the Black Sea and owns the biggest harbour of Bulgaria. If you book a holiday apartment, a flat or a hotel you are surrounded by three wonderful lakes, the Burgasee, the Mandrasee and the Atanasowsee.

Burgas even disposes an own city beach which enjoys a great popularity in all seasons. Already in the antiquity the warm medicinal baths of Burgas were known by the former big people by the name "Thermopolis".

These spas are only 10 kilometres away from the city centre Burgas. Here you even find a Hamam of the 16th century which also operates even today. 

 

The sea garden is all times a trademark of the town. Over more than several kilometres this green lung of Burgas meanders along the beach and offers over and over again marvellous views of the coast and their precipitous shore.

The park disposes an own open-air theatre which disposes more than 2,000 places and every year in summer you can take place in several different shows. With a holiday apartment or a hotel in Burgas you can imitate the old Greeks, Romans or also the Thracians and spend your nicest days of the year at the Black Sea.
