Boston – the ancient city at the Atlantic Ocean

This world metropolis in the East of the United States of America is the capital of the state Massachusetts and the largest city in the so-called New England. Since the founding by English Puritans in 1630, a lot of things have changed. Today you will find in a nearly unlimited selection of holiday apartments, pensions and hotels of all categories and you will find tourist features and attractions which are searching for the same in the United States of America.

Boston is famous because of the “Boston Tea Party” which occurred on 16. December 1773. During that time, the British colonialist raised the tea tax; the reason for the Independence War. The easiest way to explore a lot of tourist features of this, for American relations, ancient and historical city, is to use the “Freedom Trail”.

This path of freedom leads the visitor along a red line, which can be found on the footpath, to the places of the American independence movement. Starting point is the city park, which is the oldest public park in the United States of America, along of the Old State House and 15 other important locations of this episode of the American history.

If you decide for a vacation in a holiday apartment, in a motel or in a hotel in Boston, you will not be bored due to the many tourist features of this exceptional city.
