If you associate the name Bordeaux only with wine, you are wrong. Indeed, Bordeaux is the biggest coherent wine-growing district of the world; apart from, nevertheless, a holiday destination of a quite special kind. A flat, a holiday apartment or a hotel in and around the city Bordeaux offers a point of rest on a holiday full of places of interest.

In no other town the general view of the architecture is so complicated and well-preserved. The arrangement of the places and streets fascinates by surprise moments, just as a system closed in itself which is not interrupted by annoying factors.

You travel into a town full of history and personality. The Bordelais, the inhabitants of Bordeaux, are friendly hosts who have quite an own pride in their region and their history.

At a hotel, a summer cottage or a pension in Bordeaux you are always well accommodated, and from there you can undertake excursions to the 2300 years lasting constant history of the town which is also marked by the Celts and Romans as well as by the Middle Ages and the modern time.

The Old Town, within the town walls, offers numerous inspection possibilities – churches, town gates and other buildings invite for an excursion to the architecture of the past. Rambles through the vineyards in the environs or the numerous parks in the Garonne offer a rest of the sightseeing.
