Benalmadena, region Andalusia – The old native country of the Moors

With a good 2,800 hours of sunshine per year Benalmadena is a spot "kissed" by the sun-god. The town is located in the south of the mainland of Spain, in the province of Andalusia. The Spanish government started in the 1950s to build up the tourism. This really succeeded and today a big choice in holiday apartments, flats and hotels are to be found.

Along the long and above all extremely nice sandy beach it skirts an attractive promenade with many small shopping possibility, restaurants and bars.
