Famous personalities such as Albert Einstein, Gerhart Hauptmann, Joachim Ringelnatz, Thomas Mann, and Billy Wilder succumbed to the charms of Hiddensee. Was it perhaps the peace of the island, which even today has almost no cars and where horse-drawn carriages are still used, that attracted them?

From your holiday cottage or your holiday flat, you can undertake a lot of interesting activities in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern You will have the possibility to inform yourself in the German Maritime Museum in Stralsund about the marine diversity and its pattern of utilisation .
