Ashland – holiday at the „Lake Winnipesaukee“

Ashland is located in the centre of the US State New Hampshire. It is a very small community, characterized by the hospitality of the habitants and its beautiful landscape. Who like to spend his holiday in a holiday flat, hotel or motel in Ashland is searching for the insularity of the attractive surrounding, but there is also the possibility to make a day trip to Boston in the State Massachusetts, which is situated about 62 miles away.

It is easy reachable due to the well-enlarged Route 93. Ashland is surrounded by four large lakes, the Lake Winnipesaukee, the Lake Squam, the Lake Newfound and the Lake Winnisquam and also by some small stagnant waters and a river.

There are almost endless possibilities to spend the leisure time. Here you can hike, ride, to undertake bicycle tours or only to relax at one of the lakes from the stress of the “normal” world. If you want to have alternation or to look for people then you should rent a car and visit the historical metropolis.

You can discover a lot of things in the city, in which the War of Independence had been activated by the so-called “Boston Tea Party”. It is easy to spend the holidays in Ashland - whether in a holiday flat, a holiday house or a hotel.
