Arlington Country is only some miles westward to Washington D.C., in the area of the US federal state Virginia. Directly next to the capital of the United States, Arlington Country also has to offer, in addition to attractive holiday flats, summer cottages, motels and hotels of course a couple of places of interest.

For American circumstances the „Arlington Nationwide Cemetery“ is an immense military cemetery. On this area you can find more than 260,000 graves that make it to the second largest cemetery of the USA. While taking a walk across this area the heightened location not only the city centre of Washington D.C. can be seen.

The most famous gravesites are those of the unidentified soldier and the president "John F. Kennedy". Directly beside the „Arlington National Cemetery“ you can find the notorious "Pentagon". The headquarters of the American ministry of defence was inaugurated in 1943.

Today with about 26,000 civil and military employees the Pentagon is still the biggest office building of the world. Indeed, Arlington Country is separated of Washington D.C. by the Potomac, but is optimally connected with the subway system. In the capital of the United States there are countless other world-famous landmarks.

A holiday flat, a summer cottage, motel or a hotel in Arlington Country can be also used for an excursion to the nature. For example, at Potomac River, you undertake marvellous bicycle tours or hikes.
