Argentina - The Country of Tango

Hot tango rhythms, jungles, glaciers, penguins – all this is combined in Argentina. About 35 million people live here.10 million alone live in the capital Buenos Aires. The Andes are a scenic highlight here and are the border to Chile at the same time. 

This impressive mountain range ends in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina’s glacier region. The animal life in this region is fascinating. Elephant seals, penguins, sea lions… you can find all of them here. But you will also find modern beaches or romantic bathing places with their fishing harbors here. 

The wine city of Mendoza lies on the highest mountain in America, the Aconcagua. Here there is a pass which leads over to the neighboring country of Chile. If you wish, you can start from here on a day trip to Santiago de Chile. A visit is definitely worth while.

Argentina is very well attuned to tourists. Every vacationer will find a hotel or pension which fits his budget. If you would rather be independent, hotels, vacation apartments and homes are also available.
