Province Córdoba – the “heart” of Argentina

The province of Córdoba got its name of the capital of the region of the same name. By the central situation of the province, Córdoba is also called the heart of Argentina. Beside the province Buenos Aires the region touristy is the main attraction of Argentina. Here you can find charming towns, steep landscapes, an original fauna and down-to-earth, open people.

Main contact point is the homonymous city Córdoba. With its national air traffic it forms an ideal starting point for enterprises in the region. Córdoba is split regional in two halves. At first there is the west of the province. Here you can find the charming mountain landscapes of the Sierra Grande whose highest elevation is the Cerro Champaqui with 2790 metres.

There is of course also the possibility to rent a holiday apartment, to look for a motel or a hotel in a small town like Villa Carlos Paz. In the east the plain splits itself in the so-called pampas and the Chaco-plain. The animal kingdom of the region has to offer a lot.

If you are lucky and have a keen sense you can watch pumas, mountain cats and maybe even a Yaguareté in their natural wildlife habitat. In the latter case it is about a kind of infamous Jaguar.

Perhaps, in the province of Córdoba you can maybe even catch the glimpse of an Andencondor above the holiday apartment or the motel and respectively the hotel.
