The Algarve In Portugal ? The Perfect Golf Vacation Destination

The Algarve is the southern region of Portugal, the southwest tip of Europe.  Although the summer can get quite warm the winters are mild providing perfect year round weather for golf.  Often referred to as Europe’s sunniest spot, the Algarve in Portugal has some of the finest beaches on the continent.

The main golf season in the Algarve extends from late autumn to late spring.  But despite the average sunshine statistics rain does fall from time to time, mostly during the golf season.

Even so, most visitors from Europe can play in warm sunny weather of southern Portugal when their home courses are unplayable because of the weather.
