Albufeira – Dream beaches and historical contemporary witnesses

Albufeira is located in the utmost South of Portugal directly at the Algarve. Here you find both the small holiday flat as well as a luxury hotel for your holiday.

Albufeira can look back to a history of approximately 2,000 years, which can´t be recognized in sights or landmarks due to the subversions of the last centuries. Nevertheless you shouldn´t miss a stroll to the historical center Cerroda Vila. The likeable boutiques, shops and cafés in the tiny narrow streets invite for a stroll.

The city is also famous for ist magnificent beaches. Enjoy the fine-grained sand at the Praia do Penedo or the Paria dos Pescadores and let you be enchanted by the sun and the azure water. All loving water sports activities will find here what the heart desires.

You can start a trip to the neighbouring district of Silves after having a good breakfast. There is the chapel of the death in the village church where the walls are “decorated” with 1,500 human cranial bones. If you want to stroll on the traces of history, drive to Tavira and walk over the reversed engineered seven-arched “Roman bridge”. You shouldn´t also miss the  Moorish fortress and the Igreja da Misericórdia.

Your holiday at the Algarve will end so soon that you durely will travel back to Albufeira.
