Alaska, the land of extremes.

There are more than 70 national parks and reservations in Alaska, but humans have still found „their” place here. Anchorage for example, has more than 7000 hotel and motel rooms, as well as 700 bed & breakfast beds. The pleasantly furnished vacation apartments and houses, however, are the ideal starting point for discovering Alaska and traveling around the state.

You can reach the former Kennicot copper mine within a few hours by car. The copper mine was shut down in 1938 for economic reasons. The residents left their houses over night. You will experience a trip back in time to the long past pioneer days in this ghost town surrounded by a fascinating landscape.

The Wrangell- St. Elias Park, with more than 52,000 square meters, is the largest protected ecosystem in the world. Declared a national monument in 1978, UNESCO decided to protect the uniqueness of the region (mountain ranges, glaciers, rivers & forests) in 1979.

The region around Naknek and King Salmon draws salmon and trout and with that, brown bears. Many nature friends and fishermen find their paradise here, so be sure to book your low price accommodations early. Juneau, Alaska’s capital, offers incomparable sporting and excursion possibilities.

Rafting or hiking tours and, not to be forgotten, the fascination of the world of glaciers.
