Family vacation in Upper Bavaria - vacation times completely differently.

Upper Bavaria has its heart in the right spot. Its luscious nature cures stressed city dwellers, its heartiness sooths the soul and the continual panorama change between mountains and lakes creates a healthy, stimulating climate.

If the sun is too strong in August you can visit the legendary ice cave in Marktschellenberg or have a look at the Weihenstephan court garden, which belongs to Freising. This vacation region offers you champagne atmosphere for free – clear air and the lively and invigorating environment stimulate the guests.

The Klenze Park in Ingolstadt is a source of water, stones, plants and animals. A reservation with ponds and lots of room to dwell. Here you can meditate in peace and quiet near small wooden landings and islands or just enjoy the contemplative nature around you.

The historic city of Mühldorf on the Inn River is a dignified Old Town with Mediterranean flair. Street cafes are rowed next to one another as one usually knows of Italy. Down to earth family vacations on a farm will not turn into a financial disaster, a vacation apartment for 4 persons can already be had as of  €45, and in the city there are well-kept hotels.

You can go for a pick nick or unpack your beach towel on the sandy shores of the Inn River. In Mühldorf on the Inn River, it is possible that you will still see sun umbrellas until late November, thanks to the foehn wind – in Upper Bavaria the sky is simply always white and blue.
